EDUQAS has made some major changes to the GCSE English Literature poetry anthology. These updates are designed to give students a more diverse, inclusive, and representative selection of literature.

🧠 What’s the aim?
The goal is to offer a better cultural and social balanceβ€”with more poems by women and a broader representation of voices from around the world.

βœ… Key Change: Fewer Poems to Learn!

The number of poems you need to study has been reduced from 18 to 15.
Less to memorise = more time to master your analysis. (Phew!)
